Getting to the Macau Observation Deck

Macau Tower stands at the southern end of the Macau Peninsula, on the waterfront by Nam Van Lake. Buses 9A, 18, 18B, 23, 26, 32, 60 and 65 all stop at the tower itself, at the stop called Torre De Macau (M177), so from almost anywhere in Macau one bus, or two at most, gets you there.

From the Macau Ferry Terminal by bus 32

The direct way from the Hong Kong ferries at the Outer Harbour.

  1. Leave the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal

    Walk to the bus stop Terminal Marítimo de Passageiros do Porto Exterior, stop M239/2.

  2. Take bus 32

    Buses run about every 15 minutes.

    The stop is at the foot of Macau Tower.

  4. Go up to the deck

    Show your mobile voucher at the entrance, or buy a ticket at the counter, then take the lift to Level 58. For Skypark activities, go to the Skypark counter first.

From the other border crossings and the airport

Taipa Ferry Terminal: bus 26 from stop T345/1 runs about every 20 minutes and takes about 30 minutes to Macau Tower.

Macao International Airport: walk about 6 minutes to the stop Rotunda do Aeroporto/Wai Long (T406) and take bus 26, about 35 minutes.

Border Gate: walk about 5 minutes to the stop R. da Tribuna/Est. dos Cavaleiros (M225) and take bus 9A.

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge: take bus 102X from the frontier post (M800/7), then change to bus 18 or 18B at Av. Nordeste/Kwong Wa (M51), or to bus 23 at Rua Cidade de Sintra (M263).

Qingmao Port: bus 9A from stop M67, 180 m away, or bus 23 or 26 from stop M22, about 250 m away.

Hengqin Port: bus 25B to Praça Ferreira Amaral (M172/16), then bus 9A, 23 or 32.

Light rail, shuttles, taxi and parking

Light Rapid Transit: ride to Barra station, then take bus 60 or 65 from the Barra transport hub (M277) for the two-minute hop to Macau Tower.

Hotel shuttles: free buses run from MGM Macau and MGM Cotai to Macau Tower, and some other hotel shuttles stop here too.

Taxi: the simplest option from anywhere; ask for Macau Tower.

Parking: the indoor car park at the tower charges MOP 30 an hour for cars and MOP 5 for motorcycles. Spend MOP 100 or more in the tower and the first 2 hours are free.

Skywalk, Bungee and Skyjump run from 11:00 on weekdays and 10:30 at weekends. On fireworks contest nights in September and October the deck stays open until 22:00.

Which bus goes to Macau Tower?

Buses 9A, 18, 18B, 23, 26, 32, 60 and 65 stop at Torre De Macau (M177), right at the tower. Bus 32 comes from the Macau Ferry Terminal and bus 26 from Taipa Ferry Terminal and the airport.

Is there a light rail station near Macau Tower?

Barra station is the nearest. From there, bus 60 or 65 takes two minutes to the tower.

Is there a free shuttle to Macau Tower?

Yes, from MGM Macau and MGM Cotai. Some other hotels also run shuttles that stop at the tower; ask at your hotel.

Can I park at Macau Tower?
